Freudenthal Lab Pets

Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Dr. Amy Whitaker was selected to participate in Oak Ridge National Laboratory's 7th annual workshop on neutron scattering applications in structural biology.

Freudenthal Aquarium

Dr. Freudenthal and Dr. Whitaker have been working diligently to create a saltwater aquarium which is being hosted right here in our lab. Monitor our progress as the tank grows and matures!

Lab Flood

It was a tough Monday morning after a busted water pipe flooded a portion of the lab. We later found out this is a right of passage at KUMC.

Fishing With Bob

Our good friend, Bob, not only helps us with autoclaving media and sanitatizing glassware, but he also is kind enough to share his passion for fishing with the Freudenthal lab.

The Freudenthal lab opened October 1, 2015 with a great lab space to make our own.
